Ohio couple splits before marriage, court awards woman $41,466 from house sale
An Ohio man who refused to share money from his house sale with his former partner has lost a court battle. The couple had signed an agreement in 2021 to divide the proceeds if the property was sold. After their breakup, the man argued that the woman had not spent enough on renovations. However, an appeals court upheld the agreement, awarding her $41,466.50.
