France’s India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor envoy Gérard Mestrallet said Gaza, Iran tensions and Strait of Hormuz risks have made IMEC more necessary. He said “longer but safer” routes could become preferable, with the corridor evolving into a resilient network of alternative routes.
