Senior figure in Japanese fraud, theft group arrested in Philippines

Philippine authorities on Saturday arrested a suspected senior figure in JP Dragon, a Japanese fraud and theft syndicate that has targeted elderly people in Japan in recent years, police said. Yoshitaka Yamamoto, 57, believed to have been the group’s No. 2 figure, was arrested by police and immigration personnel in Nueva Ecija province, north of
